What was I thinking, I ask myself? I’ve been a bookworm since the moment I could form a coherent sentence.  So we are talking decades and decades.  I’ve read thousands of books, good ones and bad ones.

Have you ever been awakened by an overpowering, invasive smell?  Thankfully I’m not talking about the smell of smoke.  But if you have dogs you know the smell of which I speak.

In my youth that statement would never cross my mind.  In my youth I never felt “good enough” at anything.  I was told if only I did such and such like this or that person then I would be perfect.

It was hard to look at the tri-colored adult, male Border Collie sitting alone in the black wire crate inside my Honda Odyssey. “Cowboy” wasn’t upset or restless, as he was used to traveling to dog shows and had been in many strange situations.

Springtime brings with it a splash of colors.  My dogs and I have been exploring the back yard.

It doesn’t seem possible that I’m inching closer to the age of seventy.  After that comes eighty and ninety! Wow.   At what point do I officially call myself an Old Fart?

Thousands, if not millions of people suffer from autoimmune diseases, which are defined as any disease in which the body’s immune system attacks healthy cells.

I’ve finally found an unconventional doctor, one who listens and doesn’t necessarily allow himself to be constrained by current medical beliefs.

Every daydream/book needs a song, right?  Here’s my suggestion for one of my chapters.  I think of someone like Alanis Morissette singing it.
