Criticism, the definition:
the analysis or evaluation of a work of art, literature, etc., the act or an instance of making an unfavorable or severe judgment, comment, etc., censure. (thefreedictionary.com)
Two sides of a coin: Analysis/judgment
How you perceive the word defines your path

Don’t ask for help unless you are open to criticism, ready for either side of the coin.
Writing a book is hard.
Accepting criticism can be a knife to the heart or a push in a better direction.
Your choice,
My choice.
A voice inside me says to accept both definitions, throw out anything that hinders while graciously accepting censure.
Don’t hear: you’re bad, you can’t, you shouldn’t.
Turn over the coin: you can improve, keep trying, you should.
A rose has thorns.
you can only see the thorns
or the magnificent beauty of the petals.
Writing is my dream
Time is slowing down
Sand is slipping through the hour glass.
Write, accept criticism
Stay the course.
Breathe and write
Create.
